Food & Drink
Our courses usually begin at 10am and end at 4:30pm, with a half an hour or so lunch break at around 1pm. There are also morning and afternoon coffee breaks, with free tea and coffee available which students can help themselves to whenever they want in the kitchen area. Lunch and coffees are a social event that can be taken around the communal table in the summer house, or out on one of the terraces, surrounded by beautiful flowers and birdsong.
THE COACH HOUSE LUNCH
If you want to enjoy your day of creating to the max in a hassle free way, you can pre-order a homemade lunch when you book your workshop. These are served up round the communal lunch table in the summer house. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to bring along a packed lunch and any other refreshments you like.
We offer a homemade vegetarian quiche and fresh mixed salad, with a choice of chilled drinks such as Elderflower Presse or Apple Juice. If you are attending a workshop that lasts more than one day, an alternative lunch such as vegetarian stuffed and grilled potato skins with salad or homemade soup with fresh focaccia and humous will be offered on the subsequent days.
Everything is made with care by our chefs in our sister company, The Arts Cafe which is in Truro.
Please note, we can’t currently cater for specific dietary requirements but hope to be able to do so soon.
HOW TO BOOK
The Coach House lunch is available on all of our courses held during the day.
To book please purchase a ticket to attend the course that includes the ‘food’ option.
Alternatively, if you haven’t quite decided, lunches can be purchased separately at a later date.
Please aim to book at least 2 days prior to the workshop date. All food is freshly prepared and we need to know numbers in advance to avoid food waste.
