Still Life in Gouache with Kevin Scully

Course Description
During this course you will be introduced to the versatility of gouache and shown a variety of different ways in which the medium can be used to create paintings using a combination of loose, watercolour-like washes together with opaque colour. We will be producing still life paintings from a variety of arrangements both conventional and the slightly more unconventional. As with watercolour, you will be using watercolour brushes and paper, but there will also be examples demonstrating how gouache can be used with other mediums and on different surfaces.
Gouache paint is included in the price of this course. Students are welcome to help themselves to tubes shared between the class.
