Painting Cliffs and Beaches in Acrylic with Judi Trevorrow
Course Description
With Judi you will look at constructing cliff or beach scenes in acrylic paint. Every stage of the process will be demonstrated by this incredibly popular tutor. She will guide you through different techniques and colour mixing in this day long course suitable for complete beginners.
Professional artist and lecturer Judi Trevorrow has been teaching watercolours and acrylics for over 30 years, and has a huge following in Cornwall. This workshop will allow existing students of Judi’s and those new to her, to really be able to immerse themselves in a full day of expert tuition and painting. Judi has a unique style, is well known for being very generous when it comes to sharing her painting skills, and is a very supportive teacher. `
Course Information
• Stretched Canvas 40-50cm approx
• Acrylic paint including Ultramarine, Burnt Sienna, Titanium White, Raw Sienna, Pale Umber or Buff Titanium, Pale Violet and any other colours you like
• Synthetic flat brushes

Judi Trevorrow is a hugely popular artist for her seascapes, harbour and floral paintings. Living in Cornwall, Judi is constantly inspired by the dramatic light, the surf and sand, the gardens and the myriad of tiny harbours and inlets.
Find Out MoreOur courses usually begin at 10am and end at 4:30pm, with a half an hour lunch break at around 1pm. There will also be brief morning and afternoon breaks, with free tea and coffee available in the kitchen area. At Lunch time you can make things nice and easy by pre-ordering a freshly prepared Coach House Lunch. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to bring along a packed lunch and any other refreshments you like.
On sunny days students and tutors are invited to enjoy breaktimes outside in the leafy courtyard or gardens surrounded by birdsong.
