Developing a Looser Style in Mixed Media with Sue Lewington

Course Description
This is a two-day studio-based workshop where students will spend the first day creating a mixed-media painting of an atmospheric country lane lined with hedges, and will then look to try a more abstract style of painting on day two of a moorland landscape.
Both days will involve demonstrations and plenty of discussion and advice, and Sue will cover different techniques, along with the importance of planning composition, and capturing the essence of subject matter. This is an opportunity to incorporate different mediums into your artwork and have the cannce to loosen up your style a bit. When not demonstrating, Sue will be circulating providing support to students throughout.
