Course T&Cs


1.1 All cancellations will be subject to a £7 administrative charge regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

1.2 Cancellations must be made in writing/email more than 4 weeks prior to the course start date to guarantee a refund.

1.3 Cornwall School of Art reserves the right to retain the full fee amount in case of cancellation after the 4-week deadline.

1.4 The school is not required to re-allocate spaces following cancellation after the 4 week deadline.

1.5 Only if re-allocation is possible will a refund be offered.

1.6 The school does not offer credit notes or transfer of bookings following cancellation.

1.7 Friends and family can take the place of a student unable to attend a course – please email us providing the course details, their name and contact details. This would be advised if you are unable to attend at short notice due to illness.

1.8 Cornwall School of Art is entitled to cancel any course at any time. In this case, all fees received with be returned in full. The School does not accept liability for any other costs incurred, such as accommodation and transport – for this we recommend you take out insurance or book accommodation that can be cancelled.

1.9 Courses bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy.

1.10 Any course purchased with a gift voucher will only be refunded as a gift voucher, subject to the same cancellation policy.

1.11 We recommend taking out insurance to protect against loss of money in the event that personal accident or illness means you are unable to attend.

  1. Waiting Lists

2.1 When a course fully-books customer requests are added to a secure waiting list.

2.2 Cancellation spaces are offered to the whole waiting list on a first-come first-served basis.​

2.3 We are unable to hold course spaces for specific waiting list customers.

2.4 Your place on a course is not confirmed and we have no obligation to you until full payment is received.

  1. Accommodation

3.1 If booking accommodation, please ensure the cancellation policy suits your requirements. In the unlikely event of course cancellation or postponement, we cannot be held liable for associate costs such as travel and accommodation.

3.2 Please view each accommodation’s website for more information. These are suggestions – we are unable to make personal recommendations as we have not personally stayed in the accommodation.

3.3 We recommend considering covering your trip with travel insurance.
